Integrated Edit Project for The Surfer’s Journal

This was a piece that had all the components for multi-platform publishing. Writer and filmmaker Sam Smith and his team put together a story and an amazing short film, which touched on the musical culture and spinning pointbreaks of Ghana. We worked to get the stills and text into print in the magazine and then we arranged to do a duel online premiere of the film, exclusive for TSJ readers on our website, with a wider release afterward, pre-run by some fun social media marketing.
